The Greek community hid him from the athorities. He had visited Pensacola in 1913 and had asked for the hand of Bertha Seiffert. He left FL in Aug 1915 and came to Houston with Bertha.

The death certificate says he died in Marlin, but the obituary lists Houston. His funeral was in Marlin and he was buried in Calvary cemetary in Marlin. Albert died of stomach cancer.

The obituary in the Marlin newspaper stated that the funeral was at 9:30 AM at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Marlin.
