9 | Dolores Bartula & Patricia Bar Dolores Bartula and Patricia Baranski pictured in Houston Press in 1940 or 1941 when Ignace Jan Paderewski, world famous pianist and composer, statesman and prime minister of Poland, gave a concert at the Coliseum in Houston. The girls presented flowers to him onstage after the concert. Paderewski died in 1941. By presidential decree, he was buried in Arlington National Cemetary. His body was moved to a free Poland in the early 1990's. |
